Tony Ritz
I'm Tony Ritz and I'm so excited to bring Lean Leprechaun Fitness and group kickboxing classes to Work Out West! I grew up playing sports, where I was always the smallest kid on the field/court/mat, but I never let it hold me back from being a scrappy athlete. I want to share that same fighting spirit with everyone who was ever told they're not good enough to do what they love. I found my passion for martial arts when I started wrestling in high school, where I was instantly hooked! Since then, I've practiced wrestling, Muay Thai, and some Krav Maga. I was even lucky enough to do some amateur Muay Thai and MMA, which I'm excited to teach to the people of Greeley!
My coaches and teachers have been some of the most influential people in my life because they gave me the skills and confidence to face any challenge that comes my way and I want to return that feeling to others by helping them reach fitness goals they never thought they could reach. I believe that discipline and consistency are the keys to reaching those goals.
I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology and I am an internationally certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. I now have more than 10 years of coaching experience with athletes and general population. I'm also a huge nerd and I love animals, so you might occasionally see me with my pet rat, Reggie Roundhouse, who is a licensed emotional support animal and he loves to cheer for my clients while they train with me!
